Year 6 Transition Visits to Wairoa College
Transition visits for Year 6 students enrolling at Wairoa College in 2022 will take place next week, 29 Nov - 1 Dec 2021. Visits will take place between 9 -10:05am and will consist of a formal welcome and scavenger hunt orientation followed by an opportunity for students to ask questions/korero with existing Year 7/8 student leaders. Tiaho Primary - Monday 29 November Wairoa Primary - Tuesday 30 November Frasertown & St Josephs - Wednesday 1 December Current Ministry of Education Guidelines around visitors to schools and kura at Covid-19 Alert Level 2 mean that students can only be accompanied by their teacher/s and teacher aide/s. We do understand that transition can be an anxious time not only for students but for parents/caregivers.
