On Friday, 24 April, our school gathered for our annual ANZAC Remembrance Service. It was a morning defined by respect, tradition, and reflection.
The Service Academy stood tall, performing a disciplined Guard of Honour that set a solemn tone for the ceremony. We were also deeply honoured to welcome local war veterans, whose presence offered a poignant link to our history and the sacrifices.
Our head students then attended the Wairoa Service at the War Memorial on Saturday, where they laid a wreath in a final act of remembrance.
Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou.
We will remember them.
